Rumiñahui Volcano

Rumiñahui is an extinct volcano of 15.490 ft / 4.722 m placed inside of Cotopaxi National Park. This rocky mass, whose Quichua name means “Rocky Face” has three main summits; being the north one the tallest and most technical.

This hike, will take us from Limpiopungo Lake at the bottom of this beautiful mountain towards the central summit of 15.190 ft / 4.630 m, from we wil enjoy amazing scenic views of the surrounded volcanoes such as the giant Cotopaxi, Sincholagua, Illinizas, among others!
